Ida Morra-Caruso

As the founder and principal of Morra Caruso Law, Ida has more than 23 years of experience providing strategic advice and legal representation to businesses and individuals on a range legal matters. Her core practice areas include business law, wills and estates, and employment law.
Ida brings a wealth of broad legal knowledge and experience to her practice. Ida offers the residents of Stouffville and surrounding areas an energetic approach to the practice of law centered on prompt, quality and experienced legal service to all clients, no matter how big or small. Ida is passionate about knowing who her clients are and providing them with the practical advice that fits their situation.
Ida was nominated for the Stouffville Chamber of Commerce’s Young Entrepreneur award in 2011 and for a Special Recognition Award in 2023, while Morra Caruso Law was nominated for Best Small Business in 2016 and 2023 and was the Reader’s Choice Platinum winner in 2021.


Martin Bufton

Martin obtained his law degree from the University of New Brunswick and was called to the Bar in 2000. He practiced in the west end of Toronto before joining Morra Caruso Law. Martin’s practice revolves largely around Family Law and he has regularly appeared in the Ontario court of Justice in child custody, access and support matters, and in the Superior Court/ Superior Unified Court on property division. Martin prepares and provides advice on Domestic contracts (Separation Agreements, Marriage Contracts and Cohabitation Agreements). In addition Martin practices general civil litigation in the Superior court of Justice and Small Claims court and Estate law including the preparation of Applications for certificates of appointment as estate trustee with and without a will. Martin has prepared Application and management plans for Application to replace the Public Guardian Trustee as Guardians for property.
